Relationships are never easy regardless of your orientation, and Cole Sparks is no exception. Being someone who is considered your "average" gay man, finding someone seems almost as impossible as finding his dream photographer job. Cole is shy, clumsy, quiet, and can be awkward in flirtatious situations. Feeling as though he isn't quite up to other's standards, he finds dating to be a difficult process, but when all seems impossible, he is reassured from unexpected acquaintances. Work and love are two of the world's greatest life motivators, and after waiting for so long, these two things are finally coming together for Cole. Finding a balance between the two is a new chapter in his life and being someone who is not used to getting what he's always wanted; he struggles. Trying to grasp the idea that things are finally going his way, Cole does whatever he can to keep things going smoothly, but one thing he didn't count on are hidden feelings, a hidden agenda, secrets, and lies from others in his life. Relationships can be tricky at times, especially when they are not the right one. Going through relationships, even the bad ones, can be good for the mind, body and soul. Our photographer will learn that lesson soon enough. The best part of working your way through each relationship, is finding out about yourself along the way. We all have our ups and downs in life, but it's about the choices we make along the way. We never know what is right or wrong until we are able to make a decision. We learn from those mistakes, and we honour and cherish those made right. Cole has an opportunity to reconnect with old friends, all while building to create and establish new connects. What choices Cole is faced with will only help him in the long run should he find the patience and openness within himself. To be able to find that special someone to spend the rest of your life with can at times seem impossible. There are those special moments when someone may come into your life completely unsuspecting. Those moments are the ones to treasure, even if at first you don't even realize it. Never take anything for granted, especially those in your life. Cole has a lot to learn still, and he will need to rely on those in his life to help him along the way.
