The Safest Darkness is a tale about the typical girl meets boy story but their fatal, instant attraction for each other is clouded by secrets of their past. Austin, the young, jobless woman haunted by her childhood, meets Jackson, the mysterious, blue eyed bartender working at a night club. She is instantly attracted to the stranger. This instant attraction takes hold of Jackson too; to the point where they both find it difficult to stay away from each other. Both Austin and Jackson feel a sense of safeness in each other but soon find out that their secrets might tear them apart.
