Om The Uberization of the Means of Production in Brazil
In "Tiredness Society", the South Korean philosopher Byung Chul Han states that we have moved from a repressive society, in which individuals were constantly watched and punished, to a society of performance, in which each one believes in the illusion of all power and that to realize dreams, determination and individual effort are enough. Thus, the contemporary subject becomes his own foreman and charges himself with maximum efficiency in each of his actions. For the productive system this way of seeing the world and itself is extremely advantageous, since it increases the productivity of companies, however, it brings as a consequence an amount of depressed, frustrated and suicidal. Maybe that's why big companies use the famous slogan "Yes, we can".
