An unlikely five are tasked with saving the world-if they don't destroy one another first.
Kire's a nerd. So when his bullies chase him into an abandoned building, he expects to get beat up. Even though one bully's girlfriend follows, she's not keen to protect him. But, instead of a one-sided fight, everyone experiences a magical tingle.
A glowing object calls to Kire, an old book. When he picks it up, he discovers he can't read the language on the first page. But the rest of the book is blank.
When it begins to write itself in light that becomes ink, he nearly drops it. Around him, his bullies seem interested in other things in the building, which is great; at least they're not beating him up. Their lives are about to change. Scratch that; they're about to change the world...
