Macklyn "Mack" Austin is a businessman who serves in his official seat as Yazoo City's Ward 2 Alderman. He balances his challenging work in politics with a career in industry, family, and a devotion to community service. He is a passionate writer with a warrior's spirit who enjoys uplifting and empowering others, giving to those in need, and being a blessing to all who cross his path.
Macklyn cherishes his two beautiful daughters, his mother, Shirley, and his grandmother Alice who have all served as the inspiration for his life and work. Most of all, he honors God for His divine protection, grace, and mercy. Macklyn currently resides in Yazoo City, Mississippi where he believes he is destined to remain a beacon of hope to his community.
