Because of New Age boom and popularity of Elizabeth Gilbert's Eat Pray Love, Americans have deep fascination with India/look to the East for spiritual sustenance. 1+ million Americans travel to India every year. 4+ million people of Indian descent live in the U.S. Indians comprise about 1.4 million people in UK; that number is just shy of a million in Canada. India itself has more than 1.3 billion people, and the country is currently experiencing a book boom; the sector has been growing by almost 20% a year. Dana Westring was born/raised in Nebraska and currently resides in Virginia. He graduated from Hasting College with a BA in Studio Art and he worked as art director at an international architectural/interior design to designing and painting trompe l'oeil murals around the world. A majority of commissions were in the Middle East for members of the Royal Family in Saudi Arabia and the Royal Household in Jordan. He has 75K+ followers on social media. Apprenticed under the late James Perkins. He has been featured in The Washington Post and Martha Stewart Living and work is often exhibited in galleries throughout the Washington D.C. area. Francois Borne is graduate of Universite Paris-Sorbonne. Previously int'l Head of Old Master Drawings at Christies. Currently directs his own fine art consulting company in NYC. Gayatri Rangachari Shah is VP of Tina Brown Live Media (Asia) - work has appeared in New York Times, the Indian Express, Architectural Digest, Vogue, and Elle and hosts theUncommon Women podcast. TIRTHAS exhibition at The Garden Museum in London beginning April 28, 2022.
