Twenty four preludes for piano, written in every major and minor key. Composed in 2012 by Steven O'Brien, these preludes are perfect for beginners and experienced players alike looking to learn and enjoy a large, challenging and diverse array of newly written, contemporary piano music.
The character of each prelude ranges from pleasant minimalistic simplicity to the deepest exploration of dark and unknown territories, from the child-like simplicity of Nos. 1, 6 and 11 to the enjoyable complexities and challenges of Nos. 9 and 24.
