Recent police academy graduate Kathy Matthews’ main desire in life is to earn a gold detective’s badge. She sets her sights on finding a killer while also seeking to locate the owner of an old college class ring found under the Oak Street Bridge. Trying to work two investigations without her new supervisor’s blessing proves not only to be frustrating, but also dangerous.
It becomes very clear to Kathy someone doesn’t want the owner of the ring found.
