This event is historic within the Coast Guard community because Sherman is only the third Coast Guard cutter to circumnavigate the globe in modern times and the first since 1969. And out of the three vessels to accomplish this amazing journey she is the only one that was not an icebreaker. This updated version now includes Sherman's logs.
