Om Weight of Grace
Loss is a relative emotion. It is universal. Everyone feels loss. Different people can share a common experience but they can feel the loss differently.
Loss is heavy.
It is relative.
It is weighty. Loss is palpable. You can almost touch it, but it isn't physically there. Loss is invisible,
but its weight is almost smothering.
Loss is heavy.
Loss is weighty. Loss grows. If you allow it, loss can overwhelm and encompass you until the weight of the loss is greater than the weight of all that remains.
This story is one born in loss. Everyone involved experienced a tragic event that bred a tremendous loss. My loss isn't the same as that of Janet Tillman. She lost her life. My loss isn't equal to that of her daughters. They each lost a beloved mother. They also lost the idea of the father they had always known. They lost their innocence.
