Words from the Heart, a Compilation of Life Poems from a Survivor of Domestic Violence

Everyone has their own personal struggles as they travel throughout life, yet some may experience these struggles at a greater degree than others. These life situations can lead some toward bitterness and hatred, while for others, they create beauty that heals just as the butterfly struggles from the cocoon to become an image of exquisiteness, to bless those that witness its transformation and magnificence. Dani is such a soul. Surviving through the adversity of severe domestic violence and spousal abuse for thirteen years that has destroyed the lives of many, Dani took the pain of her past and used it to create words of life that are sure to touch all who will read these heartfelt poems. With the soul of an artist, Dani has created visions of beauty demonstrating the promise of Isaiah 61:3, which states, "To console those who mourn in Zion, To give them beauty for ashes, The oil of joy for mourning, The garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; That they may be called trees of righteousness, The planting of the Lord, that He may be glorified."
