In a series of vignettes, You Can Do Hard Things presents the trials and tribulations of childhood and adolescence including monsters beneath the bed, learning to apologize, and navigating both love and heartbreak. With a focus on the relationship between parent and child, this story imparts a mother's lesson not only unto her own son and daughter, but unto readers young and old.
