A Great Place to Grow Old

We live in an era of increasing numbers of elderly people, and the Church is ageing even faster than the world around us. Yet few churches have a clear strategy to reach out to the growing number of seniors in their community. Zechariah 8:4-5 tells us that the church should be a great place to grow old in, as well as a great place to grow up. A Great Place to Grow Old aims for precisely that. This is a book for all Christians with a heart for older people and seeking to find expression for their concern. It offers advice and resources to enable individuals and churches reach out effectively to the older people in their communities, to visit and support seniors in local care homes - and to take church to them where necessary.
