A Private Commentary on the Bible

Judges is the record of the failure of the people of God to possess what God had given them for a possession. God had given them the land, and led them into it, but they failed to fully possess their possessions. That is why the book has meaning for Christians. Through Israel's failures, and their successes in the book of Judges, the Christian can learn how to fully possess all the spiritual benefits of salvation Christ has for them in this mortal life.
