Om A Voice in the Wilderness, vol. 12
A Voice in the Wilderness series is that same voice in Isaiah chapter 40 that cries out to make the crooked way straight, the rough places plain, and to prepare the way of the Lord.
For the last couple of generations, the Church has slowly changed its focus from a message of holiness in the fear of God to one of grace in the blessings of God. While the intentions were good, the results were not. We lost something in the exchange, and by now, we have forgotten what it was.
The old Holy Ghost outpourings have disappeared. The crowds of healing miracles are missing. Our altars for salvation are bare. The sermons are boring lectures instead of inspired messages from the Throne of God. Our prayer lives have become anemic, and our Bible reading is minimal. And we wonder what happened to the presence of God in our services.
There is an answer. Each volume of A Voice in the Wilderness contains a series of articles that were written over the years to expose our slow descent into apostasy and loss of what once was a vibrant Church. These books call to wake the Church to see the path she is traveling down and point the way back to revival.
