Om Alfred Adler, Individual Psychology in Behaviour and Mental Health
The purpose of this book is to highlight the psychological concepts of Alfred Adler, creator of Individual Psychology, with a holistic and teleological orientation. Also, to contribute, by extending Adler's principles, with regard to the Sense of Inferiority, Compensation, the Will to Power or Superiority or Overcoming, Behaviour towards the useful or useless side, Education and Community Sentiment, Vulnerability and Resilience. Adler pointed out that mistakes in education, the goal, the life style that is created in childhood must be corrected and behaviour must be directed towards the useful side of life, which is towards social co-operation and community feeling. Individual psychology is aimed at parents, educators, teachers, psychotherapists, psycho-pedagogues, psychiatrists, to improve the quality of life, prevention, promotion, protection of mental health, individual, community and to avoid psychopathological disorders in children, adolescents and the family.
