Annie Mouse shares her photographs and tales of the family's journey along Route 66 from California to Illinois, under the guidance of Cousin Penny, who also serves as the family's driver. The family learns the route never stays the same; there are always new adventures to be had and new things to learn about its history! This adventure was inspired by the author's many Route 66 trips and features her original photography.
