From Courage to Liberty: Faith and the Way Forward

For two centuries, the United States of America was considered one of the most powerful countries in the world. So why, in recent years, have statistics pointed to a weakening education system, a deteriorating economy, and a polarized government? It all goes back to understanding the Tytler Cycle, a cycle that rotates through bondage, liberty, selfishness, and complacency. This cycle dates all the way back to biblical times, repeating itself time and time again throughout the course of history. Today it is an imposing threat to American freedom, but it's not too late to study it, break free from it, and return to spiritual faith. Edward Gaffney was born and raised in Houghton, Michigan. An engineer, entrepreneur, loving husband, father, and grandfather, he was passionate about improving anything and everything. He was the founder of Ortho Kinetics, a company with over 400 employees that strived to improve the quality of life for people with disabilities. This same passion inspired him to start his debut novel: From Courage to Liberty. Gaffney worked on this piece all the way through his final days with the hope that it will inspire even one person to lean on faith in hard times.
