Sin cannot be gotten rid of by sinfulness. Unrighteousness cannot sprout forth righteousness. An unjust condition cannot bring about justification. From an unsanctified condition, sanctification can never grow. From unholiness, holiness cannot possibly be brought into reality. And an incapacitated moral nature can never bring about a proper moral condition. Trying within our own strength, ability, and capacities to bring about what God desires for us, is like trying to get flood waters to dry up by throwing buckets of water on them. It could also be compared to trying to put out a fire with a flame thrower, or even like trying to paint a wall white, by using black paint. Hi, my name is Dennis Lackie. I was born in Gladwin, Michigan, but not long afterwards moved with my parents to Kent City, where they raised me on a dairy farm until I was eleven. We then moved to a small town where my Dad started developing property on a lake. After graduating from Chippewa Hills High School in 1968, I got a job at Oldsmobile in Lansing, Michigan, from where I retired about ten years ago. I also graduated from SDS, a computer programming school and spent time in Tulsa where I enrolled in Rhema Bible Training Center the year after that school was established.
