Ignore the Hype

This book's goal is 3-fold: 1) to enhance awareness of the difference between long-term investing and short-term trading; 2) to help individual investors filter the information overload that volatile markets and the financial media subject them to; and 3) to provide a toolkit based upon empirical academic research which can provide a foundation for long-term investment success.
Ignore the Hype is designed to be accessible to the average individual. Therefore, although some of the topics are reasonably advanced, they are explained in a clear-cut manner and accompanied by real world examples. Some chapter topics include:
