Light and Life

We hear it all the time: we need to read the Bible every day. But why is it so important that we know, understand, and apply this ancient book to our lives today? In Psalm 119, we not only find the most comprehensive look at the power and benefits provided to us in Scripture, but also the character of the One who spoke the Word into existence. This is not power that can be mustered up in our own human strength or learned from reading any other book. It is a power that can only come from God Himself. His Word is our very source of life and a light to guide us as we navigate this life here on earth. If we truly knew the power the Word of God has in our lives, we wouldn't be able to put it down.
This 8-week study features a section for each of the 22 stanzas of Psalm 119, with space to write each 8-verse stanza, answer four questions, and space to journal a prayer or take further notes. Each week also features an additional Scripture to deepen your understanding of the power of God's Word.
