Om Light + Space
The publication "Light & Space" refers on the art movement of the same name-a tendency born in Southern California characterized by experimentation, interdisciplinarity, and a move away from object-centric practices. The publication points out the main aspects of Light and Space, gives insight into the atmosphere of the 1960s and '70s LA art scene, highlights female protagonists, shows interdisciplinary and transgressive, artistic approaches to art and technology, focuses on perception and aesthetic experience as central to these immersive environments and discusses the legacy of Light and Space in contemporary artistic practices. The book also brings a section with more than twenty artist's contributions, each specifically conceived for the publication.
