Om Self-Mutilation, Suicide, and Homicide
This book shares my lifetime personal experience with self-mutilation, suicide, and homicide.
It starts with my experience with friends in the Shady Lane Trailer Park in 1953 at the age of six. It progresses through junior high school and high school in Detroit, medical school and residency training at Lafayette Clinic in Detroit. It continues in prisons and state hospitals in Michigan and California.
Context includes private practice in medicine, working at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit, Hazard Kentucky, Riverside Psychiatric Hospital in Ionia, Michigan, in I-Max, in Ionia Michigan, Muskegon and Brooks Prisons in Muskegon, Michigan, Pelican Bay, CSP-Sac, and San Quenton Prisons in California, Atascadero and Paton State Hospitals in California. I have had 21 assignments as a Contract Psychiatrist since 2008 that include working with active duty army personel at Fort Hood Texas.
I am here to do no harm, and to help if I can.
Thank you for your time.
