Om Shake the Tree!
As our heroine is leaving the house to go out to play, her mother tells her, "Don't forget to shake the tree! Or you'll
never, ever know what might just fall out!" And our heroine doesn't know what her mother is trying to tell her. And so, our heroine does what she always does; and she heads out to ask everyone she knows all about what her mother said. And she begins by visiting the elephant as she always does!
Think about what you think our heroine's mother meant, as you practice your reading skills and build your reading word vocabulary through word recognition, word repetition and rhyme, all of which you will find on the pages of this fun, 'learn to read' book written and illustrated by the award winning author, attorney and former K-6 teacher, Penelope Dyan.
But most of all, have fun as you learn; because learning must be (and should always be) fun! Then, when you are all finished traveling through this book, you can go straight to Bellissimavideo's YouTube channel and watch the free, fun music video that goes with this book!
