Om The Beautiful and the True
"I smile, I struggle... I feel bliss. God encourages me with His kiss..." These sentiments are at the heart of "The Beautiful and the True". Fania weaves here tales of a wounded world created by a loving God: the beauties of nature, the tortures of abuse, the innocence of simplicity, the magnitude of God's depths. You see yourself as you see Fania wander through life, contemplating complex realities about the world. The joy of faith. The sadness of the nonbelieving soul. The hope of redemption. The despair and joy of surrender. The frailties of ourselves; our mistakes. The betrayal of emotion. As David wrote of his anger, doubts, faithlessness 3000 years ago, Fania writes of them in 2023. David would say, "Yet in You will I trust, O God"; Fania's book reinforces that. If you read it to be entertained, you'll leave it praising the Lord. Fania speaks several languages and is passionate about the richness of different cultures. From a Serbian father and Spanish mother, she decided to pursue studies in English, a language which she has loved since childhood. In 1992, she left France, where she was born and raised, to go to England, where she taught French and Spanish for seven years. She then continued teaching back in France, enriched by her experience across the Channel. Through painful experiences, disillusioned loves, throughout her young adult life, Fania constantly relied on her Catholic Christian faith, the pillar of her life. The love of God represented for her real values which carried her all her life. Now residing in the south of France, near the sea, she lives a peaceful life, passionate about serving God with all her heart, with her husband. The magnificent nature, the flowers of Provence, have made her love this region.
