Om The Third Testimony of God
We are dependent on believing. No human being can live without using his or her ability to believe, even in everyday things. Often it turns out that our faith was justified; sometimes it turns out that we were wrong. Most of the time we survive our mistakes. Thank God! Under certain circumstances, an error can also cost us our life. We are not spared a certain risk in life, despite all precautions. The greatest risk, however, concerns our state after death. Can we also take precautions in this respect? It would not be good to believe anything wrong about this. This book is about certain statements about us human beings that exist outside of us and independently of us. Among these statements, too, there are true and false ones. But how can we distinguish between them? Everything is at stake here, because beyond the threshold of eternity one can lose far more than earthly life. Not believing this is therefore not a justifiable risk, nor is agnosticism. There is a path to certainty.
