The Women of the Bible

Esther was a young Jewish daughter of Abihail of the tribe of Benjamin, of the Kingdom of Judah. Her real name was Hadassah, which means Myrtle (plant that produces a star-shaped flower). She was orphaned in the care of her cousin Mordecai, who raised her and instructed her in Jewish law. Over the years, Esther became a beautiful maiden. At that time, King Ahasuerus deposed his wife, Queen Vashti, and Esther was chosen by Ahasuerus between all beautiful young women of Persia.
At the Meanwhile, Bathsheba was a beautiful young Jewish girl, daughter of Eliam. Her Hebrew name was Bathsheba which means, "The seventh daughter or daughter of the oath." The beautiful Bathsheba married Uriah the Hittite, one of King David's soldiers. One day, King David got up from his bed and began to walk on the roof of the royal house. From there, he saw a beautiful woman who was taking a bath, and he fell deeply in love with her.
On the other hand, Queen Maqueda of Sheba, born around 1020 BC. In the country of Ophir, located along the coast of Africa, the Arabian Peninsula, and the island of Madagascar. His rightful name was Maqueda. She was queen of the ancient land of Sheba, modern-day Yemen. The story of this queen is presented in the books: I Kings, II Chronicles and the Gospel of Luke of the Biblical Canon. It is also shown in the Qur'an and in the history of Ethiopia.
