To Dwell in Our Midst

Why study this ancient tent? What does the Tabernacle have to do with our faith on this side of the cross? Everything. From Creation, God's desire was to dwell in the midst of His people. When sin entered the world, we were thrust from His dwelling place for our own protection. But God had a plan.
In the middle of the wilderness, God gives Moses a way for God Himself to dwell in the midst of His people: the Tabernacle. He gives specific instructions and commands Moses to make everything exactly as God has shown him. This tent is not merely history or good information-it's essential to understanding our salvation. Our detailed and deliberate God gave us the Tabernacle because one day, He would give us Jesus.
