Om Vintage Art
Vintage Art: Franz Marc: 20 Fine Art Prints is a curated collection of artwork by German painter and printmaker, Franz Mortiz Wilhelm Marc (1880-1916). Marc's contribution to German Expressionism was integral, he founded the Der Blaue Rieter journal in 1911. His work was shown at the first Der Blaue Rieter exhibition in Munich at the Thannhauser Galleries, which was the pinnacle of the German Expressionist Movement. He initially studied arts at Munich University, thereafter he visited Paris, where he copied the paintings he saw in museums until Marc developed a style that was truly his own. Marc used bright colours in his paintings and his main subject was depicting animals in natural settings. How to use the prints: The one-sided prints can be removed by using a box cutter or scissors, they are ideal for framing, home decor, and papercrafts.
