What Others Believe

Om What Others Believe

This book lists, from the internet, all the known religions or non-religions of the world. Sects or denominations which exert great influence on the populations of developing countries or which challenge, encourage or are the reasons for the almost fashionable anti-religion mentality in the developed countries are described in detail. The book is addressed to all peoples of all Faiths and is in two volumes. Volume One deals with the Abrahamic and Dharmic religions. Volume Two deals with indigenous religions, left-hand path religions, the New Religious Movements (NRMs), alien based religions, non-sectarian and trans-sectarian religions, spiritual movements and practices, systems claiming not to be religious but which have the characteristics of religion and non-belief systems. It is hoped that those who read them will be able to see their religion and those of others, more objectively, and, consequently, be able to manage the complexity of world views of people and cultures they encounter.
